Best DEF Delete kit

The Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system is a part of a diesel engine’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system that assists in reducing emissions. DEF is a mix of urea and deionized water injected into the exhaust system to help in the reduction of exhaust emissions, which convert to water vapor and nitrogen. It was meant to fix something, but it can cause new problems if it’s not looked after.

Problems caused by DEF system

  • DEF Contamination: If water, dirt, or other contaminants get into the DEF tank, they can clog the injectors and the system, leading to performance problems and engine error codes.
  • Frozen DEF: In low temperatures, the DEF in the system can freeze, leading to blockages in the lines, filters, or injector nozzle. Extended exposure to extreme cold can cause problems.
  • Aftertreatment System Damage: The system needs to inject the right amount of DEF into the exhaust to reduce NOx gases. Too much or too little DEF can hurt engine performance, increase emissions, or damage the SCR system, often due to faulty control modules or DEF pump issues.

How DEF delete kit solves?

The DEF Delete removes the functionality of the sensors and injectors that regulate the DEF system. We reprogram your ECM to ensure that the DEF system is no longer controlled by these components. This adjustment removes the need for DEF, reduces stress on your engine, and enhances performance, resulting in a smoother and more efficient operation.

With the DEF system removed, you no longer need to worry about contamination from water, dirt, or low-quality DEF that could clog injectors and lead to costly damage. It also eliminates the risk of DEF freezing in cold temperatures, preventing blockages that could disrupt engine performance. Additionally, removing the DEF system reduces maintenance needs, cutting down on regular filter changes and system flushes, saving both time and money.
